Getting here

Bus

Local buses stop on Old Shoreham Road (10 minutes walk) and Neville Road (5 minutes walk).

Train

Hove Station is a 20 minute walk.

Services from London Victoria and London Blackfriars to Hove take just over an hour, with regular trains via Gatwick airport, towns across Sussex, and destinations along the coast.

Coach

The closest coach station is Pool Valley Coach Station, where National Express coaches arrive from London and from Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

Cycling

There are Beryl Bike stands in both Hove Park and Waitrose Car Park.

Car

We have limited parking on site. There are designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders next to the Chimney as you enter the car park. You are able to park around Hove Park for up to 3 hours free of charge.

Accessibility…

The Happy Campus at The British Engineerium is an historic building, but we do our best to make it as accessible as possible.

Accessibility to the Events Space and Museum

The entrance to the Events Space is on level ground, down a slope in the car park entrance. If visiting the museum you can enter on the ground floor via the coal tunnel to view the boilers. To view the pump room you can access via the car park.

The events building has two floors. The ground floor is accessible to wheelchair users, but access to the first floor is via a staircase only. Wheelchairs cannot be carried upstairs for use.

There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor

Accessibility to the Dance Studio

There is a ramp into the studio and an accessible toilet.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted on site.
